We stood before the castles in the sky,
the beautiful thing, the dull sensation
pulling us closer to this temptation
as we remember that day in July,
that question that stood without a reply
as I remembered my limitations,
unable to leave for that location,
we finally gave up and said good-bye.

We continued with glances in the night,
tempting every chance just to get away
then it ended with not another sight,
with only the fragment of your invite,
and I wonder what if I said okay
but I don't need those memories tonight.
