"Come away from the window" he said, putting his hand on her smooth shoulder.

"Why can't I see?" she asked "What's happening to him?" She turned her blue eyes to him.

"It doesn't matter now..." he purred, running his grays over her, his hands as well..

"But he mattered! He always did!" she pouted, moving away from him.

"He can't hurt you now..." he whispered, moving closer.

"He never hurt me" she said confusedly "What have you done?" She backed away.

"He can't hurt you now..." he said, more testily. His eyes grew dangerous.

"He never hurt me" she said in horror "Why are they taking him?" Her eyes widened and she pulled at her nightgown.

"He can't hurt you now..." he pronounced more firmly, jealousy and lust making him rabid.

"Why is he gone?", she cried "What did you tell them?" she tried to run, but he caught her.

"He can't hurt you now." he growled, holding her against the wall by her wrists as she struggled.

But you can.
