Ice

I feel so cold,

No life in me to keep me warm.

I walk through life,

Hoping to find Your undying fire.

My tears freeze on my face,

I can’t feel anything anymore.

Will You come here soon

And melt this ice away?

‘Cuz You are The Fire,

And nothing lives without Your warmth.

You fill me up,

‘Till I overflow with Your love.

‘Cuz You are The Fire,

And no one has lived until You fill them up.

I need a spark,

A flicker of hope to light my way,

‘Cuz it’s so dark,

And it’s hard to see the Light.

My feet want to follow,

But are frozen it their place.

Will I die here?

Or will You save me from this place?

‘Cuz You are The Fire,

And nothing lives without Your warmth.

You fill me up,

‘Till I overflow with Your love.

‘Cuz You are The Fire,

And no one has lived until You fill them up.
