I can feel the pain and agony within him,

Does no one believe me?

I can feel the sorrow that pulls him away from me,

Can I do nothing?

All I can do is watch in horror as he is swept away.

The ground is his bed,

The night sky…his blanket,

The moon…his only light.

In the morning there may be nothing left.

When the sun appears, it may scare him away.
