Looking

We all look for something in life

Whether it’d be love, peace or worth

We will always look

Some find it, Some don’t

Me? I don’t know what

It is I’m looking for

It could be love.

Someone to hold me

Someone to need me

Someone I can’t live without

It could be peace.

A house in the country,

No more wars between countries

No more arguing and bleeding

It could be worth.

I could want to be of

Equal value as the President

Worthy of something new,

Of something righteous and fun

Whatever I’m looking for,

I’ll know it when

I do find it

It may be today or tomorrow

Maybe next year or never

But no matter

I shall continue to look.
