The Sorrow of Saying Good-Bye

Today I knew we would say good-bye
The sorrow I saw hurt me so
The tears from friends
When the priest and the councilor spoke of him
They're arms holding one another for the comfort they searched
The sadness of realization....
Of losing

The sorrow of saying good-bye

Of whom I speak I know you know
For he was lost on November 24 of 2005
A man of kindness
A man so caring
A man who's life was of music and art
A man who could put a smile on your face when you are down
A man who was there when you needed to talk
A man who took his life for a reason not known

He left us un-expected
And the shock shook us all
But most of all
His family....
And the most I saw
His friends......

He is a man who will never be forgotten
A man who we will miss so much
This is the sorrow of saying good-bye
To a friend
To a family member
To Nick Lelli

This is to all of Nick's friends and family....We will never forget him..............
For those who are wondering who is Nick Lelli..He was a senior at my school who recently just died from suicide...he died on thanksgiving;ten days after he commited suicide...I wrote this after i came back from his wake...For this i do ask that you don't leave any snide or rude comments of the sort because this is something i most care for and would appreciate it if you didn't but of course i will take any comments besides those...so i do ask ifyou R&R because like all writers;we like to know our work is appreciated and liked....Thank you.
