Hello, stranger, eyes so distant,
Staring out at sea
Would a lonely man like you
Like some company?

Stand a little closer now
No need to feel forlorn
So what’s the tale to match your face
Abandoned and battle worn?

Your rattling whispers make me shiver
As chill reveals our breathes
Watching you look out so far
Makes my heart protest

This nostalgic feeling pulsing through
As your eyes fade dull
The gentle teardrop freezing ‘fore
It gets the chance to fall

I sense my breath begin to slow
The thought now piercing through
Hello, stranger, don’t feel alone
‘Cause I’m nobody, too
