My Heaven

My heaven,
I dream of it sometimes.
I look at the sky
And wonder where it is.

It’s not in the clouds
Where everyone thinks.
And it’s not before the stars.
That’s way too far away.

I find it in your heart
To call myself your own.
I belong to you,
You’re the only one I feel.

In that heaven of mine,
Where time’s not real.
It’s the two of us,
Standing alone, looking down.

We’re looking at the world,
And we laugh till our eyes close.
Where we have each other,
They are all alone.
