“‘Hey, what’s been going on lately?

Like, nothing… It so sucks…

Aw, that’s sucks. Why didn’t you call me Saturday night?

Well, I had… things to do.

Ah, Daryl, right? How was he?

We didn’t do anything like that! We just… talked… and stuff.

Riiiight… Sure, I believe you.

We did! We played his Mario DDR game, too. It was cool… He lost his footing once, and like, fell on me… He was touching me…

Ooh!!! Did you kiss?

Um… I don’t wanna say…

Tell me!

Yes! He kissed me… Twice…

Ooh… Did he use tongue?

A little…Okay, a lot… For, like, twenty minutes…

Yes, you did! You said, “Wear that pretty black halter top…” And threatened me to do so…

Okay, okay… So I did. But it got you a nice piece of a-…’

“Whoever has written this note please stand now, and I promise not to send you to the Dean’s office for expulsion.” The teacher, Mr. Placebo, angrily promised.

The entire class sat, staring, wide-eyed, at the red faced, middle aged man. Some were snickering, others whispering to each other, and only two were quiet, not laughing or talking, and as red in the face as Mr. Placebo. One was a girl, Julie, who had begun chewing her eraser, looking anywhere but directly at the teacher or the other student, the boy. The boy chose to stare directly at the teacher, eyes large, shining, attempting to send him messages to drop the letter in the trash, forget about it and walk away. The teacher did none of those things, and instead took to staring straight at the two students, pointedly, glaring.

They took the hint, and reluctantly stood, glancing at each other, as though apologizing through their eyes. The teacher stalked over to them, throwing the letter down, and gripping his hips.

“Well?” He said, eyes narrowing.

“We’re sorry,” They both stated, in tune with one another.

“And don’t do it again!” He said, taking the note, and placed it in his bottom drawer. “I’ll be showing this to your parents,” he informed them, allowing them to sit, both red from embarrassment.
