Last December

As we sit in this death chamber
I recall this past December

When we were still so naive
So ignorant, wild, and free

But then the sun melted the snow
And our ignorance drowned in icy water below

We saw each other with new eyes
No longer blinded by sheets of ice

Of course we fell into the trap
We fell in love and never looked back

Spring was gone and so were our heads
They dissapeared with our seperate beds

Then summer came and we were warm once more
And I knew it was over when you slammed the door

Of course we fell into the trap
We fell in love and never looked back

That night I felt a part of me die
I thought our love was just a lie

But deep down I knew it was more than that
I knew it was so much more than that

We walked straight into the trap
We fell in love but we should've looked back

And as we sat in the death chamber
I couldn't help but think of that past December
