Tale the First – The Three Realms

Up above the clouds is a white kingdom of ice. Heaven. In the heart of this land of ice, is a beautiful palace of white ice. Within this palace live all the angels of Heaven, and the Court of Heaven enforces the Holy Laws. God himself is often seen in this palace; however, he stays mostly in his office, as he is very busy.

Down below the ground is a kingdom of fire and brimstone. Deep within this land is a black palace, where Lucifer and his children, and all other employees of Hell live. It is also where ‘deals with the devil’ are made. Or occasionally, deals with the devil’s daughter. The damned souls of humans are forced to live in the land surrounding the palace, and are not allowed to enter.

Between the palace of black, and the palace of white, is Earth. But to the vampires and werewolves that take refuge there alongside the humans, it is the same as Purgatory. Though there are many descriptions and realms of Purgatory, this is the Purgatory that takes matter with these tales.

Residing in Purgatory are vampires and werewolves, known as the Shadow of Humanity. Vampires and werewolves, once human, but no longer. Shadows of the humans they once were, they are filled with anger and hatred towards any living creature except themselves.

So ends our first tale, an introduction to the three realms which are the subject of these tales.

Author’s Notes: I know these first two chapters are short, but they are necessary to understand the following tales that will be read. The next tales should be much longer, some coming in more than one part. I will try to update soon.
