My eyes are swollen from crying so much,

I just lost someone dear.

Oddly, though, I’m at peace,

And know there’s nothing to fear.

She’s in heaven now,

Celebrating with God and Jesus.

There’s no crying up there,

So now,

I will cry,

Tears of joy,

Instead of tears of sorrow.
