Each time I hold these words

Sent upon this wind and into the sky

Feelings never spoken, never heard

The melody of silence gone

Out amidst the tranquil seas

Flowing upon waves to beyond

Past the horizon, no longer seen

What the heart aches to say

Now but a memory unable to let go

Pieces lost to the wind and waves

Trapped within time's relentless flow

Emotions held deep inside

Hidden form the harsh world

A confession soon left behind
