Annie’s Kung- fu Family

“Where is that school stupid bus!?!?” Annie cried “ It was supposed to be here 15 minutes ago!” It’ll come Annie... just calm down..don’t give yourself a heart attack” I gently told her. It wasn’t good to get Annie angry. “ It better come soon, or I’ll use you as a punching bag.” Annie retorted. “Yeah right Annie, you can’t even reach the top of my head and you think you can beat me up.”

I replied playfully. Annie was about 4'8 with shoulder length black hair that was always in a ponytail. She was Chinese and pretty skinny but NOT anorexic. She constantly had a nose in a book. You hand her a book and she’d read it within one to two days no matter size or length. I on the other hand was 5'4 and had wild curly hair. “I’ll get you for that one later.” Annie said “ But if I try to beat you up now I’ll loose sight of the oncoming bus.”

While we were waiting, Annie and I talked about homework and all that great stuff. Then I had a great idea. “ Hey Annie! Why don’t you take the TTC?” The bus stop is really close and It’ll take you to your house in three minutes. Besides I have to use the TTC to. You can join me.” “ Nah.” Annie replied. “ Besides, my mom would definitely kill me if she found out I took Public transit.” “She would, would she?” The gears in my brain started to turn frantically.”Brainwave!
