"Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess. She was perfect in every way, but one. She had a terrible curse that only true love could break. Now men from near and far came to break her dreaded curse and claim her hand in marriage, but none had succeeded. The princess started losing hope. Then one day a handsome prince came along to try his chances. Upon seeing each other it was love at first sight. The curse was finally broken. The prince and princess got married and lived happily ever after."
Heard that before? Well, I used to believe in stuff like that. Love at first sight, and romance period. But I've grown up and learned that romance doesn’t exist and never has.
Want to know what changed my mind?
My best friend was killed by her boyfriend when she broke up with him. And it was AFTER he killed her that he told her he loved her. (Can you get any more psycho than that?)
Good enough reason for you? Yeah I thought so.
