Man's primordial fury unleashed,

the animal within let out

children crying in a whirlwind of pain

mothers incapable of warmth

fathers drowning in a sea of fire

untamed darkness

swallowing humanity whole

minds shattered

unrelentless noise

that tears at our hearts

screaming quietly for unattainable silence

fangs sinking deep

claws unsheathed to rip and tear

souls dancing to a ghostly melody

the jungle of insanity

growing on broken dreams

never coming home

to the sunlit peace.

Yellow ribbons died in blood.
