When she was thirteen she began to cut

The pain had become so painful it was her last resort

She always liked the feel of her blood

Running down her arm

The rusty knife really did some harm

Her parents never knew what their daughter was doing

No, they were too busy fighting

They never noticed that in the darkest corner

Their precious daughter was hiding

Pulling her knees to chest

She pressed the blade to her wrist

Her parents dream of her becoming a ballerina

Would never exist

She never liked dancing anyway

But because of their stupid fantasy

SHE had to pay

Finishing her suicide note

She whispered her last words to a shadow

"I hate ballerinas"
