The Fabled ... The Wandering Spirits
A fabled tale to tell the song
Of the four ungrateful lives
A sorrowed tune and darkened moon
Brings ungrateful tides
The strongest, then, in wit and rage
Would stand before the rest
But with her past still lingering on
And thousand sins to confess
A heart of stone and soft of touch
Filled with kindness and passionate love
But feelings, thus, as far as went
Not three, but only one
A quiet one through struggle and strife
Pulls a task to just fit in
A journey unfit for feint of heart
A journey that ends with him
The words and courage that forth him come
Bring sadness and ever joy
The actions unsuited for his life
Build up what no one can destroy
The seasons changed and so did she
With the wind blowing through her hair
The spirits wrapping around her arms
Giving her the sight and care
The lightest touch and quickest tongue
To keep with those who stand too tall
The strength of love and respect for three
Made her the strongest of them all
But again was one whose life was not
And the rage was trapped inside
They didn’t understand his nature at heart
And his true identity, he couldn’t hide
The monster he was only covered below
The man who stayed awake and strong
The assumptions that he didn’t care for them
And that his conscience was simply gone
The sun may hang low in the darkening sky
As the evil spread through the ground of the earth
Four warriors whose lives weave a desperate web
In search of nothing but worth
Hope in each other for strength and peace
Faith in each other when they just want to quit
Love for the lives that together, held fast
Together … the wandering spirits
