A/N: This isa reposted version of the original. This chapter stayed pretty much the same, but later ones have been changed. Enjoy, and please review!

After the long hours of watching and waiting, the boy finally came. Then, I knew naught of love, my only passion was the forest, and besides, I was allowed contact with no one. All my life I had spent in the forest, but upon my trial it was only my father who came to bring me food, supplies, and comfort. He did his best for a man, but soon realized I could not be Proven all alone.

Geteral Law decreed that I was to have no one until my powers had developed and I had learned how to control them. This is how the strong were pulled from the weak, who often did not survive this challenge. There was a loop hole, like in all magical laws, that only my betrothed could accompany me. This law was made since one could not undertake the trial until the marrying age of 15. My father told me that someone would come to accompany me and that it was to be a boy. I was not adverse to boys, but the problem was, I had never known one.

Preparations were to be made to my kingdom in the trees. I lived in Han ‘ath dale, a forest too dangerous to be on the ground at night. Even in the trees it was risky.

I lived in a house made of wood, adult size so I would grow in to it. A kitchen, one bathroom, a bedroom, a library, a workroom, and an extra room to do with what I pleased was my sanctuary from the humans of the world. An extra bedroom and bathroom were added on, furnished with masculine touches. My father was excited during the building, for he had always wanted a son.

The only problem is that never did tell me how they found the boy. Or were he came from.
