I weep for the weight of the World:
A still stone statue save the steady stream
Wearing the years into my cheeks.
The Anger, the Hate, the bitter cold of Cynicism
The close-mindedness of the age(les)s.
'Til the burden is grave and bleak.
Exclusion shrieks like a raptor
Praying on the innocent
Who can only be lost.
So I weep for the gravity of life
And for the loss of innocence.
I cry on a beach of frost.
My song issues without music;
Woe that I'm, too, incomplete!
But the burden keeps me from perfection...
It is not mine to carry;
Would I could give this load away,
But I am kept in its election.
Oh, free me from this fetter.
Damn the rules and regulations to Cocytus.
The burden makes me weak.
I weep for the weight of the World--
A still stone statue save the steady stream
Wearing the years into my cheeks.
