Your poems are bliss

like a first kiss

They pour from your heart

one flowing ending, middle and start

And take me away

for a brief second today

To a place full of happiness...

... and Sun Flowers smile in the rain!

I read poems everyday

with your thoughts I wish to stay

They enchant and fulfil

like an ecstasy pill

And make me wish for days

Caught up in the shade

Watching the great sunrise of your imagination…

every Morning nothing like the last.

But alas I do return

To a world on the burn

Where life falls apart

and tramples my heart

Commuters force me to the ground

till on my face there’s a frown

And I’m forced to realise that nothing is sacred…

except the simple, loving and sometimes endearing verse that flows from mind of a Poet.
