A voice of Solitude

Dedication: To my Great Grandfather!

Rain droplets sparkle and glitter,
Dancing in the sky and singing their sad songs upon a stone.
a Watchful child joins their sadness,
Lossing her tears in the rain.

Let their peace be shattered upon the coffin,
Their sadness engraved in granite.
Their breath stolen and locked away in a cemetery,
Watching sad faces gather around them.
Mouths speaking but cannot hear them,
Children weeping but cannot see them.

Rest in peace, the words of solitude.
Travel swiftly from here and rest.
Be at ease and close your eyes.
Quietly whisper goodbye,
The Voice of Solitude.

One by one we all fade away,
Listen to the rain as our tears fall,
Join in the song of sadness,
And whisper softly
Goodbye!
