Every year we are falling
into this void brought about by love.
three little seeds.
Are you his queen down there?
Has your beauty become awesome and terrible,
as I fade away in the ruins above,
in the shining air.
The golden corn, my heart, is harvested
and ground into dust upon the stone.
I am frozen.
I am waiting for my daughter.
I am waiting for spring.
