Scared of the dark

Gools in the park

As fear leaves its mark, I cant sleep

I'm drifting in and out,

Hear the song of a lark

Think I'm dreaming, then I peep

Monsters under the bed

Danger ahead

I toss and I turn, I cant sleep

Like a lamb to the slaughter Im misled

Wholesomely drifting, mixed in the head

Screams enough to wake the living dead

But the dark is just the day with the lights switched off

Seeing all is well and the streetlight outside, I scoff
