There's this girl
People think she's nuts
They think she must be high
But she just sees things differently
She's running through a maze
But she knows her way through
Going to make it to where she needs to be
She's checking her watch as it starts to get dark
She's passed the woods
She's made it through the night
She's figured out the riddle
And now she's reaching the garden
Where they're waiting to hear her speak
She starts to explain
Tell them why she's late
But no sound comes out
When she finally says it then think she's crazy
That she's a few cards shy of a full deck
But she's come too far to go back now
Even though that's what she thinks she wants to do
She's passed the woods
She's made it through the night
She's figured out the riddle
And now she's reaching the garden
Where they're waiting to hear her speak
They tell her that she's dreaming
There's no way what she's seeing is real
She tells them they'd see it too if they'd just open their eyes
They're checking their watches
It's getting late
Time's running out
She's passed the woods
She's made it through the night
She's figured out the riddle
And now she's reaching the garden
Where they're waiting to hear her speak
She's not crazy
She's not out of her mind
She's not dreaming
What she sees is real
It's just not the reality they can see
