Emotions are odd
And sometimes rather creul.

When you are joyful,
You laugh at anything at all.
But the joy will not last;
Sadness will come
All too fast.

When you are peaceful,
You are content to watch the world go by.
But the peace will not last;
Anger will come
All too fast.

When you are in love,
You would do anything for someone.
But the love will not last;
Hatred will come
All too fast.

Wouldn't it, then,
Be better not to feel?
Without joy, there is no sorrow.
Without peace, there is no anger.
Without love, there is no hatred.

You cannot miss
What you've never had.

Joy will never fade,
Simply because it was never there.
Peace will never leave,
Simply because you never had it.
Love will never disappear,
Simply because you don't know what it is.

Without feelings,
You could never be disappointed.
Wouldn't it, then,
Be better not to feel?
