she hums a tune
a sweet little song
a song she loved dearly
and wholly embraced
sometimes it's mellow
sometimes it's provocative
but still she sang with it
she embraced the song
she lived through years
but the song remained still
she was unwilling to let go
until the song took its toll
now, she's dying
but still she sang
even just a hum
she went on singing
the song embraced her
it wouldn't let her go
the song trapped her
she had no escape
even on her deathbed
still she yearns for her sonata
to hear the song which embraced her
to hear her embraced song
her song called Marijuana...
