Past

Your all back again

Same ole’ story

Same ole’ tale

Trying to reanimate

The love that’s turned to stone

Your living in the past

Dragging your mother

Back to my father

Talking about the so-called

Good ole’ days

When your mother

Was back with my dad

And I’m standing here

And your pretending

I don’t even exist

Like I’m some

Abomination of Adultery

A ghost from a future

That you won’t accept

Is real and not a waking dream

What do you expect

For him to leave my mother

And run back into

That cheater’s arms

And when he’s dead and gone

You’ll wonder why

You never really knew him

You’ll cry for him

And act like you care

But you were always taking

And never giving anything

But that has all come to pass

And finally at last

He has found a place to rest

From his children’s greed
