It wasn't like I loved you.
It wasn't like You knew.
It was just a simple thought
That I really hoped would come true.
Baby, please.
Don't tell me about your feelings.
Quit wearing them,
All pinned on your shirt.

I never dreamt that I would.
I never cared much about it.
But the more you shunned me,
The more it became aparrent.
You were just the same,
The same old story I've read too many times.

Decked out in your pretty clothes
Wearing your trademarked accessories.
Just drawing me deeper in
Pulling me closer to L.O.V.E
Even though it would rather be lust
Your appearence & personality
Keep making lies up to my heart.

I've danced too long
Alone on the dance floor
Can you lead me?
Into my own Happy Ending?
