Prologue

Jaded Love

Like the celestial blade that does bewitch me

I was enchanted by your eyes

Swimming in oceans of grey

The waves pulling me under

And I cried out,

But I sunk beneath the waves

With no chance left for salvation

This, the thin red line

The ribbons around my skin

To twine with diseased cream

So sinfully sweet

Ardent caresses to lay me to rest

And a single thought crosses my mind…
