False prayers

I've lived out the life of an angel

Pretended to be what I'm not

Prayed amongst all ye faithful

But not once did you see what I got

A heart full of aches for the missing

And a somber of lament for you

Who blinded by all of your blessings

Can't see love to its fullest truth

Regret is no simpler sorrow

Than hate is to revulsion

I'll wait at my window for morrow

Hoping an angel might rise with the sun

And somehow these mistakes undone
