I visited the old me
In words written years before
I told myself again what it was
To love, like and to adore

This New Year makes me think
How could I grow apart
From the old me, so carefree
With the world’s wildest heart?

I’m processing everything in my mind
All that I’ve known before and now learned
Again I have found myself after almost three years
Again, to that tender age, I have returned.
