Feel like dying,

Don't know why,

Hate from the inside,

Making me cry.

If I had a dollar,

For every time I felt this way,

I'd be a rich girl,

In another day.

I'm afraid I can't decipher,

Why I feel the way I do,

I'm afraid of my own memory,

Remembering you.

Blood that flows,

Feels captured within,

Want to let it out,

But know it's a sin.

Too many thoughts,

Frightening my mind,

Only asleep,

Can I seek what I find.

I'm afraid I can't decipher,

Why I feel the way I do,

I'm afraid of my own memory,

Remembering you.

Best, worst,

Worthless but worthy,

Shred my eyes,

So I may see.

Gone today,

Still gone tomorrow,

Someone please,

Kill my sorrow.

With a knife,

Slicing through the pain,

Cutting off the endings,

Making it the same,

The same as the day,

The day before you're gone.

Too different now,

Now that I'm alone.

I'm afraid I can't decipher,

Why I feel the way I do,

I'm afraid of my own memory,

Remembering you.
