Sing to me softly, mommy,

While I sleep in my wooden cage,

Kiss me on the cheek gently, mommy,

While I, in turn, kiss death

-

Cut my wrists for me, mommy,

While I take a vacation

Scream your throat sore, mommy,

While I makes some consolations

-

Thank you mommy, for playing my role,

While I was in a coffin, lain,

And now, to make up for my toll,

I’ll ignore your pain.

No, I do not really feel this way. I wrote this during the wee hours of Christmas morn. I couldn't sleep, I was listening to music, I randomly started writing lyrics for a song I haven't heard in ages, got frustrated because I couldn't remember how the song went, and in my irritation, wrote this. Viola.

But it still made me think.
