Hidden away in foreign lands

If you’re lucky to win this game of mine

Stretching across wind and time

Far across the open sea

Where my real self may truly be

Tear this makeup from my face

Try to return me to my proper place

Change me if you think you can

Better hurry I could die

Lying here under the ground

Nothing escapes, there is no sound

But I won’t die that is my curse

And I can’t seem to figure out if that’s the worst

Come and find me where I land

Underneath Egypt’s golden sand

Pyramids of gems and gold

Stories left centuries untold

If I’m here than find me crying

If unless I may be dying

Come and find me I am lost

Seek me at your own true cost

Am I worth the price you pay

To seek me out in this sick game

Within a temple I may lie

Waiting to be awoken I look like I died

Across the sea unto Japan

Or maybe some holy promised land

Where flowers bloom and winter’s short

“Come and find me” I continue to retort

Come and find me seek your glory

Write a page in my old story

Told across the years I wait

And still do I ever hesitate

Hiding who I am and where I lie

I have years left before I die

Where the night never meets the day

Or where the day never meets the night

Or where wrongs are never made right

Where the rain will never end

Just around the mountain bend

One I had forgot for so long

Listen as I whisper too

Across the wind from me to you

Perhaps I’m in Egypt, Greece or Rome

Many places I call home

Perhaps Japan or somewhere new

A lake surrounded by forest, secluded anew
