(Sitting on a wooden pew on New Years Day...)

Visions of sugar plums flit out of sight
And the last few things about the year
Appear, and through my mind take flight.

Christmas

And the choir soars
Merry Christmas, Praise the Lord!
Alleluia, Christ is here!
Lights to try spread Christmas cheer.

Don't feel like it.

Weather

Outside echoes with dull
Nothing but an empty hull
Of the weatherman's promises.

Marriage

In its crafty ways
Twist the heart
Confound the brain

Marriage

Is a broken lip
Abroken home
4 broken hearts

Don't feel like it

Love

Is healing its own pain
My sunshine on a rainy day
Pray: I'll rinse this sin away

AmI up to it?

And these feelings
Make absolutely
No
Fucking
Sense

tired yet determined author's notes: it's 3:30 over here. in the morning. and i should be sleeping. so anyways read the bold parts like it's right next to the word after it.. and you should find some rhythm... although it may not always be consistent... and it's broken in a few place (the unbold, dettached phrases)... and the first sentence is just providing setting... so yea... good night.
