Silver Moonsweep
Manami, having been in a bushland home all her life was taken to the city and put in a boarding school for girls, bored out of her mind.
Close to insanity, her computer her only companion in this hell-hole, she wrote stories of years ago, fantasy stories built by her imagination.
The warm winds wipped her face, not being able to resist, she gulped down the last of her water and food.
Wiping her face and shoving the withered fruit in her mouth she shivered from the delight of food.
Being only 10 and never experiencing even close to this, she was afraid and dilussional, seeing figures far from her imagination or anyone elses, she ran for her life in the strong, warm winds.
"That'll be enough" Manami said satisfied of her work.
"Hey manami, would you like to come out?" Kumiko questioned slipping into a tight dress, her slender body fittting easily. Her dark green hair in a tight plait and her face showing no sign of make-up.
"No thanks" manami said idly.
"You never come out of this room, i talk about you all the time, the girls think i'm stupid for trying," Kumiko said not before adding; 'They were right' in a cold voice.
Returning to her stroy, no chance of escaping her imagination she wrote more of this fantasy.
Settling for the night she wrote in an old book, her only possession, of what she had experiened.
After they killed my father i had to run away, i abandoned everything, my father, my mother, my pride, but most of all my life and position.
I have no will of living except to avenge my father's death.
I had a recollection of my father's obscene death and my mother's capture, me riding off to no-where with nothing but a horse which died not long after my journey to a small cove with water. I should've stayed. Now i cling to life just for the moment, until i avenge my fathers' death and return my mother to her rightful place- at the throne ruling our once beautiful land with all its glory.
I have no food or water and nothing but these filthy clothes, i have nothing to bath in, i have nothing.
I only plead with our goddess to help me and my tribe to get through this with my mother to rule.
Our goddess has put us through enough greif and anger from my fathers death i couldn't handle anymore.
I am holding on by a thread to save my mother, tonight i must sleep, with nothing but a filthy garmet not even worthy of a slave.
"Tonight i rest, 'til tomororow i will think of nothing" the princess mumbled before falling in and out of a small slumber.
In the morning the sun glared down upon her face waking her up.
half asleep she asked for her servants to come bath and dress her, waking up fully after screaming for a while she remembered her encounter with an unknown enemy who killed her father, she remembered the dream;
Her father and mother were sitting down to a light lunch, she was bathing with her 2 servants at her aid when a bell was rung, they were under attack- men and women scattered everywhere, soldiers were trying to fight them off, succeeding the enemy lunged at women and children taking them hostage.
Her father the king and her wife were in an underground hideout.
"Where's Manami" her mother, Saie, screeched.
"Forget her, she will be-" the words stuck at the back of his throat 'dead...' he couldn't utter them. Saie ran out to look for her.
"Manami!" saie kept repeating over and over.
Suddenly Saie was covered by the shadow of a large man, muscular and well-built, he swooped her up and took her away.
Her father, jemei, ran out at the shrill scream of his wife, the same man holding saie stabbed him with a large sword too big for your average man to hold.
Clearly these warriors were mighty and always defeated their apponent.
Manami had rode away long before they came, after some peace and quiet from the demanding servants.
She saw her palace burn to ashes from afar, she rode for hours on end, finally she came to a small cave filled with water, she bathed and drank greedily, only to leave for the journey with some fruit which was ripe then and a small bottle of water.
After the encounter with many warriors she knew much skills of fighting and self-defence, pushing her way through the crowd of slaves, beggars, rich folk and other market people she strode to a well where she drank all she could hold and stole some food. Luckily it was so busy nobody noticed she was even there, they were hypnotised by the offering of the goddess to keep themselves safe from the unknown enemy.
"Greedy bastards" she mumbled, a little servant boy not much younger than she heard.
"Who are you to say we are greedy when you steal from us?" he hissed in her ear.
"I am a mere living person" she stated coldly striding to the horses stables to mount.
"Intruder!" the little boy yelled pointing a dirty finger at Manami, everyone turned to look at her ride off into the darkness dust following her.
"That was close" she said wiping her forehead.
'I never thought a stroy would be so long and hard to write and create' manami thought typing more.
