Once upon a little time
I saw a little squiggle
And there upon its little paw
There lay a piggle wiggle.
The piggle wiggle saith to me:
“O sing that little song
With which a little piggle wiggle
Jiggleth along.”
Thus spake the little piggle wiggle
From the squiggel’s paw,
And when preceedeth it to jiggle,
Receiveth but a roar:
“O piggle wiggle, danceth thee
On little squiggle’s paw?”
“Nay, little squiggle, jiggleth me,
Why giv’st thou I thy roar?”
O foolish little piggle wiggle,
Knoweth thee the law
That he who trespass’th on me
Declareth holy war?
“Holy war?!” squeaketh piggle wiggle,
I know nowt of war!”
And so proceedeth piggle wiggle
To jiggle even more.
And roareth little squiggle then:
“Damned be ye, piggle wiggle!
Thy little trotters on my paw,
Their dance doth deftly tickle!
“Ha-ha! O foolish little squiggle!
May victory nearer draw
T’shall teacheth thee to piggle-jiggle
With thy squiggle paw!”
“Nay! The hand of death proceed’th
I feel my wigglish doom!”
And then with that I squished them both
And brusquely left the room.
