wrote this one out of a crappy journal entry about my makeup with a so-called friend after a big, fat argument i was hoping to send it to the guys of my chemical romance. just so they could make a record out of it. but then again, maybe i wouldn't. it's not much anyway.

misery loves company

-

1st stanza:

why the color of your skin never fades is a mystery to me.

but when you start stinking like a corpse in a ditch, you become the clearest image of mis'ry.

and i like you that way.

-

welcome back to the reality you tried to get away from. how does it fucking feel?

-

chorus:

i told you that misery loves company. all the more reason to find you here with me.

i told you you'd be coming out from under whatever it was that you took cover.

what took you so long? i missed you like this much, fucker (holds up THE FINGER)!

-

2nd stanza:

bite the bullet and swallow your self-destructive inclinations.

stop putting up the sanctimonious pretense because it doesn't work and it draws conclusions.

don't give yourself away.

-

welcome back to the reality you tried to get away from. how does it fucking feel?

-

chorus:

i told you that misery loves company. all the more reason to find you here with me.

i told you you'd be coming out from under whatever it was that you took cover.

what took you so long? i missed you like this much, fucker (holds up THE FINGER)!

-

that's just the way things go.

-

love me. leave me. kill me, will you? (i know you want to.)

one thing's for sure, baby... i'll be damned NOT to haunt you.
