Sound

My deaf friend once asked me,

“What do wind chimes sound like?”

I told her that if she shut her eyes,

It would sound like the

Touch

Of flower petals on a sleeping face; it would

Smell

Like an orchard of pomegranates,

And it would

Taste

Like sweet water.

She shut her eyes and replied,

“I hear you.”
