Real me

Look into me and find real me
Please find me if you can
And tell what do you really see
You know that I’m a sham

All I see is nothing real
Nothing that you could truly feel
I’m a lie; I’m a sham
And even you know that’s all I really am

I see a girl full of hope
Then a girl full of pain
Do please tell me that
Your search was not in vein

What do you find?
Or can you not see to the heart of my mind?
It seems we have failed
There is nothing to find
But thank you anyway
You have been, far too kind
A path to your home, you must quickly find

But what is this you’re telling me?
It’s impossible to be
You are the spirit that’s been lying within
The voice in my head, all those times it was you
I am sorry to not believe you you’re a liar at best
But no way I know can put your theory to test

So it may not be a theory, I know it’s a lie
Now leave me alone, so that I may please cry

Look into me and find real me
Please find me if you can
And tell what do you really see
You know that I’m a sham

There is no real me
I cannot find, I cannot see
I was made to go unnoticed
With no soul within my mind
I’m not real and you know that
So leave me alone to be,
