Best Friend

All the laughs and tear stained shoulders have gone away

Leaving us empty with nothing to say

Broken dreams of being famous

In the end nothing is painless

But did you know you were my best friend

I thought we would be friends to the end

Did you think I would just let this go

No matter what you say or do you’re my friend, you know

Look back at times past

We both thought that this could last

Oh how naive children can be

Our own hearts ripped us apart you see

Wise men say you never lose a true friend

What happened to us then

It wasn’t you it wasn’t me

Just don’t blame it on our company

Just think of all our good days

What we could fix in many ways

Fall down jump up again

You’ll always be my best friend

A/N: this is really close to my heart cause i wrote this from a real experience. my best friend (she still is... we worked it out) got really mad at me. she said we weren't like best friends anymore cause i never answered the phone or wanted to do anything anymore... i was really just depressive and i didn't want to talk to anybody so she thought we were growing apart... i still get sad when i read this(and i still don't answer anybody's phone calls ) hope you liked it!
