Untouchable, yet able to touch.

The one in a photo with the eyes of eternity.

Yet so human that the world can overwhelm.

Distant, close, and eternally contradictory.

Don't believe your eyes, for they deceive.

Maybe man can live forever.

Or maybe man is forever.

Watching through the eyes of eternity.

Leaving bits of light like a sparkling trail of stardust,

Marking the hearts of those along the path, untraceable but there forever.

Catch a fairy, and make a wish.

But no one will try.

The light shifts, shadows and flames and the moon through the trees.

And no one tries.

Because you cannot touch a flame.
