All the pieces placed in a box of steel

Impenetrable so that I could not feel

Along he came with a smile and a lucky key

I struggled until he said he loved me

The pieces slowly began to mend

A fearful heart loves again

But in the distance a storm begins to grow

Churning hateful winds and explosive thunder rolls

I fear what I anticipate

Tightening my grip as I sit and wait

Please God let this storm start to fade

Or this weak heart goes back into the box I made

The steel is cold yet I hear it calling me

"Come to me so I can tuck in and keep you from falling into the sea"
