He’s older so he shouldn’t be

He’s been through much more

I wish to see him

Sitting in the moonlite

His face smiling down at me

He warms my heart when he talks to me

Or when he responds to my e-mail

I wish I could get to know

Him better

But distance is a thing

Assured to keep

Us apart
