Kind of a response poem to IncandescentDreamer's poem "Hope." Basically, I'll never truly be gone. . .

Sue

Hope's not leaving Sue

Not without a fight with the big man upstairs

If you catch my drift

And if, by some chance

I do have to leave you

Sue

I'll still be there

An email, a phone call, a letter away

I can't begin to even imagine life

Without the blank stares

The blinking

The not-winking

The randomness

Even the rants

I'm sure I'll even miss those

But Sue

I'll never really be gone

'Cause if you look deep inside your heart

I will be there

As you'll be in mine

Summer sprints towards us now, Sue

If I go, I'll probably go then

Let's take it on

Let's plow on through

Because Sue

That's the only thing we can do
