This Lyrical God by Anime

This shows how one of my characters feel when she dances among people. Not intended for young children.

Enjoy.

She sashayed her way

through the crowd,

bending,

whirling,

twirling.

Her wide hips

moving suggestively

to fast music,

her full lips smiling

at leering men.

She shook her body,

shook her head,

shook back

the strange thoughts

of stopping and

walking away.

She swung her body

into the music.

She let the

swirling

twirling

whirring

music inside of her.

She could not deny

what her

straving body

craved.

She lusted after

this sensual beat,

captive

of its hauting melodies.

Her yellow hair

caught the dim lights,

her brown skin slick

with sweat.

She closed her eyes,

not wanting to see

the disgusting display

shown

by

the

men.

They yelled at her,

taunting her,

making clear

what they wanted

of her.

She swept away from them,

not talking,

not smiling,

not listening.

The only master

she served

was the downbeats,

the grace notes,

harmony,

melody,

music.

She lunged

when it spiked.

She dived

when it dropped.

She did not feel

her body aching,

she did not hear

what the others

were saying,

she did not speak

when spoken to.

All she

saw,

heard,

felt,

was her precious

music.

And thus she sashayed

away

from prying eyes,

her body aching,

but satisfied,

hungry,

yet

full

of this beautiful,

intoxicating,

god of

the downbeat,

the upbeat,

the grace note,

melodie,

harmony,

crescendo,

and

decrescendo.

So...?
