Ignorant Wish

Staring out at waves
It seems that the entire world
is crashing down around me

But yet all I could do is smile
at how peaceful the sea is.

Somehow distractedly
I recall that I was involved
in something about the destruction going on.
Chaos seems to be surrounding me

Well, who cares?

I just want to watch the sea!

A pink dolphin
leapt out of the blanket sapphire
its disappearing tail wriggling playfully
A hearty laughter escaped my mouth
Someone was scolding me for that
But my mind is too far to hear it

Well, who cares?
I laugh when I want to!

My soles are getting wet now
the waves licking the naked skin
Slowly, the lyrics of a song long forgotten
drifted out loud to welcome the tide
My voice rang out loud and sang in chorus with the waves
It simply as though I am in the world of my own

Brushing the sand off my bottom
my sitting form ran towards the water
There were voices screaming for me to stop
Well, who cares?
It doesn’t really matter
I am my own person

In the comforting silence now
my body immersed itself in the sea
as we become one.
