Linoleum floors

Let me kiss you

Hold you for a wile

I’ve got nothing to loose

And I’m all alone tonight

The bottle looks friendly

But only for the night

Next morning you meet the evil twin

You can never win

It’s waking up on the bathroom floor

It’s the numbing of your skin

It’s for ever; it’s never, its over

And it won’t let you in

Cutting through your tender skin

But it still won’t let you in

We never seem to grow up

Though we age just the same

We just take the world day be day

Stuck in this useless game

Breathing is the key

Push past the cold steal bars

We sit downs and cry for a wile

As it infects our hearts

It’s waking up on the bathroom floor

It’s the numbing of your skin

It’s for ever; it’s never, its over

And it won’t let you in

Cutting through your tender skin

But it still won’t let you in
