If only for a moment
Make a fool of this unbeliever!

I would cry for you limitless tears
I’d beg! I’d plead!
Forgive my childish ignorance!
Rend my soul with gaze most terrible!

I’d do anything to quell your anguish
Break my bones! Tear my skin!
If only to give you a moment’s joy
